Paul van Beuzekom started his internship at Publyon in January 2023. He supports the advisors in their work for various clients and assists in the monitoring activities.
In late 2022, he finished his bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Organizational Science at Utrecht University, of which he spent the last semester on exchange at the University of Oklahoma. He wrote his bachelor’s thesis about the impact of municipal reorganisations on the administrational culture within municipal councils. In addition, he was a member of multiple advisory councils at Utrecht University, like the Economics, Law and Governance Faculty Council. After finishing his internship, Paul wants to pursue a master’s degree in Public Administration, most likely in Leiden or Rotterdam.
As well as studying, Paul volunteers for the Matchis Foundation and was a member of the Children’s Council of the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital in Utrecht. His greatest passion is refereeing: every Saturday and Sunday he referees top-level matches for the Dutch National Field Hockey Association.
