Rik de Jager started his internship at Publyon in February 2023. He supports the consultants in their work for various clients and contributes to the monitoring activities.
In 2022, he graduated from Utrecht University, obtaining a master’s degree in Corporate Law and European Law. During his bachelor’s degree at Utrecht Law College, he spent a semester studying at the University of Sydney. He also attended several moot courts and internships in the legal sector, including at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in Amsterdam. He wrote his master’s thesis on the design and impact of the upcoming European AI Act, which sparked a particular interest in the role of Big Tech and digital technologies.
In his spare time, he plays cricket, goes to classical concerts and enjoys being in the kitchen with a good Italian cookbook.
