Joshua is interested in EU policy making and both its effects and interplay with local administrations and businesses. Before Publyon, he worked as a trainee at the European Committee of the Regions, where he worked on interinstitutional relations and foresight.
Having grown up in the North of the Netherlands, Joshua moved to England for his Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent. He subsequently moved to Paris for his Master’s degree in European Affairs at Sciences Po, with a specialisation in Foreign Policy. As a part of his Master’s, Joshua did an internship at Cities Northern Netherlands, the EU office Leeuwarden, Groningen, Assen and Emmen. At Publyon, Joshua focusses mostly on European policies in the transport, energy and sustainability sectors.
Joshua speak Dutch and English fluently and has a working level proficiency in French.
