Arno studied European Affairs at Sciences Po Paris and EU International Relations and Diplomacy at the College of Europe, developing a strong understanding of the political, institutional and geopolitical dynamics shaping the European Union and its neighbourhood.
Before entering public affairs, Arno gained diplomatic experience through internships at the Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands and the Dutch Embassy in Sweden, where he particularly explored Dutch Swedish links on the green transition and EVs. He also was an intern at the Applied Policy Research Institute in Armenia, contributing to policy research and analysis. In addition, Arno regularly writes and contributes to articles and analyses, including previously for the Arctic Institute and Euronews.
His interests lie in energy and transport policy as well as its growing intersection with EU enlargement, and the European Neighbourhood Policy. He is especially interested in how the green transition and connectivity can support Europe’s economic resilience.
Arno is fluent in Armenian, Dutch, and English, and has working proficiency in Swedish and French.
