Amber Leguit has worked as a Senior Consultant at Publyon since September 2019. She advises companies, government bodies and civil society organisations on public affairs as well as corporate communication.
Amber mainly works for clients engaging with the energy transition and circular economy. In collaboration with them, she strives to make a meaningful contribution to achieving climate goals. Amber combines a solid, structured approach with creativity and a ‘can do’ mindset.
Amber has a master’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in Museology. During her master’s programme, she researched the transition of steering methods in the decentralisation of healthcare in the municipalities of Amsterdam and The Hague. She also did an internship at the Ministry of Finance, was active in the sustainability committee of a youth party and researched success factors for female leadership in the Dutch House of Representatives. Before joining Publyon, Amber worked for several years as a public affairs policy officer at the Netherlands Museum Association. There, she was responsible for lobbying on policy areas such as public funding, digitalisation and the labour market.
Besides her work for Publyon, Amber is a former chair of the Dutch political party D66 in Amsterdam Zuid. She is also an active member of the Écrassée network for professional women and the Dutch Association of Public Affairs (BVPA). On weekends, Amber enjoys playing golf and spending time with her family and friends.
