Shelly joined Publyon after building an international career at the intersection of public affairs, business and diplomacy. Prior to joining Publyon, she was part of the Prince Albert Fund Programme and spent several years in Singapore at the European Chamber of Commerce, where she supported companies in navigating the evolving EU policy landscape and represented business interests across sectors including energy, circularity and digital economy. Before that, Shelly worked as a political advisor in the Belgian Federal Parliament, gaining valuable insight into the Belgian political and legislative landscape.
Shelly holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Antwerp and began her career with internships at Belgian diplomatic missions in Malaysia. Having worked across diplomacy, politics and business, she brings a strong understanding of policymaking and stakeholder engagement at both the Belgian and European level.
She is fluent in Dutch and English and has a working knowledge of French.
