Since August 2024, Isabelle has been a Public Affairs trainee at Publyon. Along with the other trainees and junior consultants, she is part of the monitoring team, where she focuses on analyzing political developments. Additionally, Isabelle is a member of Team Region.
Isabelle earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Leiden University, with a specialization in South and Southeast Asia. During her studies, she spent a semester at Monash University in Malaysia, where she delved into topics such as gender equality and reproductive health and rights. Her time in Southeast Asia was further enriched by several months of traveling, which deepened her understanding of the region’s culture and politics. Isabelle is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Relations at Leiden University, with a specialization in Global Political Economy.
In addition to her studies and internship, Isabelle is committed to combating loneliness by volunteering as a companion for a senior. Together, they regularly enjoy a cup of coffee, go for walks, and spend time on hobbies like drawing. Isabelle also enjoys staying active by engaging in sports in her free time.
