Björn has been a Public Affairs intern at Publyon since February 2026. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Information Sciences at Utrecht University, he is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in New Media & Digital Culture. Within this program, he focuses on the interplay between media, politics, and society. For his master’s thesis, he is researching the use of the anger frame in the PVV campaign.
His interests include broad political developments, media dynamics, discursive processes, and subcultures. Björn enjoys reflecting on societal issues and the way different groups give meaning to political and cultural developments. In his free time, Björn enjoys socializing. He enjoys cooking, regularly attends concerts, and can often be found in record stores browsing for vinyl.
