Irene is a Consultant at Publyon EU in Brussels. She works on public affairs strategies with a focus on transport, energy, and sustainability policy.
She has a background in International Relations and Historical Perspective from Utrecht University, specialising in security and conflict. She also completed an exchange semester in Tokyo, Japan.
As part of her Master’s, Irene interned at the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Nations in New York, where she was exposed to multilateral diplomacy and international negotiation processes.
She is also involved at Holland House Brussels as a Member of the Board and Chair of the Event Committee.
Irene is fluent in Dutch and English and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
