Joris van Eijck recently joined the Publyon team as a Public Affairs intern. With a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Leiden University, he brings both academic knowledge and practical experience. He previously worked at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) and volunteered with the Red Cross, where he was involved in onboarding new volunteers.
His passion for politics and government was furthered by his contribution to the development of an election manifesto for the municipal party “Students for Leiden.” This experience gave him valuable insight into the political process and demonstrated how collaboration and strong ideas can lead to effective solutions.
At Publyon, Joris uses his curiosity and energy to translate inspiring ideas into policies and strategies that truly make an impact.
In his free time, Joris enjoys sports; he enjoys playing squash with friends. He also has a great love for music. He collects records and enjoys expanding his collection with, as a favorite, the music of Sting.
