Manon started her academic journey with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of Ghent, after which she pursued a master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy at the University of Antwerp and Macquarie University in Sydney.
Alongside her studies, Manon served as president of a student organisation, took part in extracurricular courses such as the Global Leadership Program, and volunteered on several occasions. She further strengthened her international profile through internships at the Permanent Mission of Belgium to the United Nations in New York, where she focused on human rights, and at the Belgian Embassy in The Hague, where she worked on political affairs.
Manon is passionate about gender equality, humanitarian cooperation and sustainable development, and brings a global perspective and a proactive mindset to her work at Publyon.
She speaks fluent Dutch and English and has a working proficiency in French.
