Since August 2024, Rutger has been a Public Affairs trainee at Publyon. Along with the other trainees and junior consultants, he is part of the monitoring team, where he focuses on analyzing political developments. Additionally, Rutger is a member of Team Tech.
Rutger is studying history at Leiden University and specializing in 19th and 20th-century Dutch history. In addition to his studies, he has been actively involved in various boards of associations and foundations. He plans to pursue a master’s degree in Dutch political history in the future. Throughout his studies, Rutger has learned to approach complex issues analytically.
Alongside his studies and internship, Rutger is committed to improving mental well-being of students. In his free time, he enjoys going for walks, cooking and watching detectives.
