Since August 2024, Tom has been a trainee Public Affairs at Publyon. Together with other trainees and junior consultants, he is part of the monitoring team, where he focuses on analyzing political developments. Additionally, Tom is a member of the sustainability team.
Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from Utrecht University, with a specialization in sociology. During his studies, he spent a semester at Sciences Po Bordeaux in France, where he took courses such as ‘Theories of European Security and the EU’ and ‘History of International Politics.’ In addition to his minor in France, he also pursued a minor in Public Administration and Organizational Science, giving his social studies a strong political focus. Before joining our team, Tom completed a Public Affairs internship at another firm. In the future, he aims to pursue a master’s degree in European Governance.
Besides his traineeship, Tom works 4 hours per week at a forensic psychiatric clinic. In his free time, he enjoys sports and works as a DJ, providing music for various parties and events.
