Diederik van der Maas has been working at Publyon as a Junior Consultant since 2023. In his daily work, he deals with political monitoring and strategic consultancy.
Diederik studied at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Leiden University. After his bachelor’s in Public Administration, he completed the master’s in Politics, Policy and Management, with a focus on advocacy. In doing so, Diederik conducted research on the formation of agricultural interest groups.
Besides his studies, Diederik worked, among other things, for the Province of Zeeland in the Public Affairs team. There he supported colleagues, among other things, with Zeeland’s lobby towards The Hague. He also worked for a year as a policy officer for a municipal council group in The Hague.
In his spare time, Diederik enjoys playing a game of padel or squash with friends and is active as a participant and daily driver for the Zeeuwse Ringrijders Vereniging.
