Mathis Kampschöer has recently started as a trainee in public affairs at Publyon. In this role, he focuses on political monitoring and provides support to consultants in their various activities. Mathis has a bachelor’s degree in Global Sustainability Sciences, specializing in policy evaluation around nature and environmental policy, obtained from Utrecht University. Furthermore, he deepened his knowledge by obtaining a master’s degree in political science from Leiden University. His specialization focused on political parties, parliaments, and democracy.
During his master’s program, Mathis conducted quantitative research on the voting patterns of Members of the European Parliament, contributing to his in-depth understanding of the European Parliament. His focus was primarily on policy developments in the field of sustainability. Within this sector, he aims to make significant contributions throughout his career. Therefore, at Publyon, he will be active within the Energy & Sustainability team.
Besides his professional aspirations, Mathis is a surfing and snowboarding enthusiast. However, when the waves and snow are not permitted, he can be found in the gym. He also has a passion for music across various genres and enjoys cooking.
