At Publyon, Brecht is responsible for clients in the realms of digital transformation, technology and the energy transition. Brecht likes to navigate deftly through the EU and national public debate and contemporary geopolitical issues. He is convinced, for example, that a firm like Publyon forms an essential bridge between the European business community, various national and international social interest groups and European politics.
Brecht holds a bachelor’s degree in History and a master’s degree in International Relations from Leiden University. In addition, he completed an internship at the offices of Publyon in The Hague.
Brecht is a native Dutch speaker, is fluent in English and French and has a basic understanding of Spanish and German.
